1967 Olds Delmont

I bought my car about four years ago from a co-worker I talked to. He showed me pictures of it and I went to see the car. It had some things fixed prior to purchasing. The car was in primer when I went to see it. There was damage due to rust in the trunk and in several other places. There were wiring problems some of which were fixed before purchase. The coolant overflow tank had to be replaced due to only being held on by a zip tie. We went to the junk yard and got a replacement tank out of a caddie. I later replaced it with the chrome tank on the car now. I have had to repair wiring and body work but I think it was worth it. The car came with the crager 15" 50 spoke wire wheels. They look good on the car and helped with the purchase decision.

The tires were from another co-worker. He had them on a Caddie or Mercury. I had the car about two years and in Oct of 2007 had it painted after a summer of working on the trunk, door jambs, engine compartment including the underside of the hood. I have further plans for the car as parts and funding permits. The car is painted Fantom Blue with a blue interior. The engine is a 330 V8 2 barrel with a TH350 auto transmission that was rebuilt and now has overdrive.
