1972 Plymouth Cuda

Owned by Steve & Barb Doyle

Steve's first mistake was letting his wife Barb drive the Challenger. She was bitten by the classic car bug. She wanted to have a car to drive too.

Steve and Barb were at Chryslers at Carlisle showing the Challenger when they saw the Cuda in the car coral. They really hadn't planned to buy another car but the price was right and it was another muscle car. They made the deal with the seller and proceeded to get a cash advance from the cash office at the show ground. Only one problem Carlisle only accepted VISA at the time and they only had a Mastercard. It was late on a Saturday and the banks were all closed. They had to leave a deposit and the car until the following week when they drove to Maryland to pick it up.

They usually nickname their cars and this one was an easy one to name. It was nick named "Nightmare" due to the difficulties trying to close the deal and the fact that the car is black with black interior.
