My 67 Oldsmobile 442 X

I purchased this car in 1989 up in Canada. It was an original California Black Plate car that not been on the road since 1980. This was just a roller with no engine or transmission and original Crystal Blue paint. The plan was to knock this out in one winter but after acquiring a parts car from New Mexico for the driveline things changed!! The parts car was a numbers matching 67 442 with protect-o-plate and was not going to break it up. This put the car on the back burner even though a lot of the body work was complete. Then around 2000 (after doing a couple of more cars) I began to focus on this car again with a rough plan as to what I wanted. The next four years I rebuilt this car from the frame up and painted it Performance White with Maroon frame and Red and Maroon tu-tone interior. The engine is a 425" Big Block Olds that was bored and stroked to 496" with Edelbrock aluminum heads, solid flat tappet cam, Harland Sharpe roller rockers, Eagle rods, Ross pistons, and Offenhaser 2X4 intake manifold. The rest of the driveline is a Turbo 400 transmission and 12 bolt 3:90 "O" type rear axle. The rest of the story/pictures are on my website . I have enjoyed this car very much and my wife Marcelle loves to drive this car.
