About Our Club

The Street Machines of Rochester car club is a very socially active club.  We are based in the town of Greece, New York which is a suburb of Rochester and our members live throughout the western New York area.  Our history started in 1974 with a few founding members, some of whom are still active in the club today.  Typically, our annual membership averages about 100 car enthusiasts.

Our premier event for the year is our Annual Outdoor Auto Show. Which is held each summer on the second week of June.  Our car show committee spends nearly 12 months planning and organizing to make this event successful.  The weekend kicks off Saturday afternoon with a party like atmosphere during our Super Cruise featuring live music.  Sunday, we open our gates at 9:00 am and the cars begin to rumble their way in, right down vendor row and onto our show field which often swells to over 500 vehicles.  Some of the proceeds are donated to groups and services in our community such as the Greece Volunteer Ambulance, Greece Special Police, and others local charities.

Every spring, during the first weekend of May, we kick off the car season with our outdoor Spring Dust Off Mall Show at the Mall at Greece Ridge.  We fill the mall with over 50 cars, trucks and bikes for shoppers to enjoy as they go from store to store.  Be sure to stop by our booth in the Center Court where you can inquire about becoming a member, buy T-shirts, enter our raffle, get flyers for upcoming shows, or just stop in and say hi.  For those who have cars and are looking to blow the cobwebs off, we host our Spring Start-up Cruise-in which is held outside in an overflow parking lot at the mall and open to everyone.

Throughout the year we sponsor monthly events for our members.  It may be a picnic, an ice cream social, or a cruise.  When the cars get put away for the winter we keep things going with events such as our Halloween Party, Annual Awards Banquet, Christmas Party, Super Bowl Party and other activities that vary from year to year.  We also continue to take time to give back to the community bundling up and ringing the bell for the Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign at the Mall at Greece Ridge as well as collect clothing to donate and visit a local nursing home to help bring Christmas cheer to residents there.

We typically meet on the first Sunday of each month 6pm.  During the summer we move outdoors and host picnic meetings.  If you think you might be interested in becoming a member you can check out our calendar and stop by one of our meetings to get an idea of how our club is run and to introduce yourself.  You can also find information and a membership application on under our Membership tab or by clicking the link

We are very proud of our club as well as the close friendships we have built amongst one another and are always welcoming to new members.  So, if you see one of us out at a cruise night feel free to approach us with any questions you may have.
