© Street Machines of Rochester                       2011    The Street Machines of Rochester car club is a very socially active club. We are located in the town of Greece, New York which is near the outskirts of Rochester. Our history started 37 years ago with a few founding members, some of whom are still active in the  club today. Our Current membership is over 130.       Our premier event for the year is our Annual Outdoor Auto Show. It's held the 2nd weekend of June each year. Our elected board members spend nearly 12 months planning and organizing to make this event successful. Proceeds are donated to groups and services in our community such as the Greece Volunteer Ambulance Greece Parks and Recreation and others. With hundreds of vehicles on display, thousands of spectators, and numerous vendors, you don't want to miss it.    Every spring, The first weekend of May, we kick off the car season with our indoor Spring Dust Off Mall Show at Greece Ridge Center. No need to be concerned about the weather, you can see the mall filled with cars from different eras. Be sure to stop by our booth in the Center Court. There you can inquire about becoming a member, buy T-shirts, enter our raffle, get flyers for upcoming shows, or just stop in and say hi. There is always someone there to talk to.       Throughout the year we sponsor monthly events for our members. It may be a picnic, a drive-in movie, or a cruise. When the cars get put away for the winter we keep things going. Each November we have our yearly Awards banquet. Then we bundle up and you'll usually find a bunch of us up at Greece Ridge Mall ringing the bell for the Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign. A Christmas party for the kids, a bowling nite, game party, movie nite, etc. are all part of the winter activities.        A new show we have put together is Motor Mania at the Dome Center in Henrietta, NY.  After 3 successful years I can honestly say that it's a fantastic show to be a part of. We'll be at it again next year.       We usually meet on the first Sunday of each month at the Dutch Mill on Dewey Ave. at 6pm. In the summer we have picnic meetings.
